Qualche ora fa sono emerse novità in merito all’emulazione di The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, all’interno dell’app di Nintendo Switch Online + Pacchetto aggiuntivo.
Con l’aggiornamento dell’app del Nintendo 64 del Nintendo Switch Online delle scorse ore, sembra che Nintendo abbia apportato sottili miglioramenti all’emulazione di The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, ovvero uno dei titoli di lancio dei software del vecchio Nintendone.

L’app è stata infatti aggiornata per il rilascio di Banjo-Kazooie, tuttavia i dataminer sono riusciti a scoprire dei cambiamenti anche in Ocarina of Time, uno dei peggiori giochi emulati (tra quelli per Nintendo 64), dall’applicazione su Nintendo Switch Online.
Nel corso delle settimane di lancio, i giocatori hanno infatti segnalato problemi legati alla nebbia, distanza di rendering e soprattutto le texture dell’acqua all’interno del gioco.
OatmealDome su Twitter, ha condiviso delle immagini che mostrerebbero dei leggeri miglioramenti all’emulazione, che rendono il tutto esteticamente più gradevole e più vicino alle versioni precedenti di The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Da qualche tempo è infatti possibile usufruire del nuovo pacchetto aggiuntivo del Nintendo Switch Online, che permetterà di far giocare ai player su Nintendo Switch classici intramontabili per Nintendo 64 e SEGA Mega Drive.
Non solo, infatti il pacchetto aggiuntivo del Nintendo Switch Online, permetterà ai giocatori di accedere anche il nuovo DLC, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Paradise.
If Ocarina of Time is an epic, then Majora’s Mask can only be described as an epic epic.
This time Link, the Hyrulian Hero, struggles against time to unravel the unsettling mystery of Majora’s Mask.
This mind-bending follow-up to Ocarina of Time sparkles with an artistic flair and presents a premise that shatters the foundation upon which most games are built. Perpetually reliving the same three days and three nights, Link is able to explore his world and relate to other characters like never before. Plot is often an afterthought in video games, but it is the driving force in Majora’s Mask. The storyline meanders through the game like a living creature, poking around here and there to reveal greater insight into the land of Termina.
Masks play a vital role in Link’s Terminian adventure. Early in his quest, Link encounters a travelling salesman from the Happy Mask Shop. It’s not immediately clear whether this shady character is aligned with the forces of good or evil, but he claims to be the rightful owner of Majora’s Mask. It is this travelling salesman who places a three-day time limit on Link’s exploits, coincidentally coinciding with the inflexible schedule of the falling moon. The nomadic representative of the Happy Mask Shop gives Link his first mask, the Deku Mask. While wearing this mask, Link is able to do business with Deku Scrubs who would normally ignore him in human form.
Oltre 20 titoli classici per Super Nintendo, sono già disponibili nel servizio del Nintendo Switch Online dallo scorso 6 settembre 2019, ottenibili sottoscrivendo un abbonamento all’online della casa nipponica.
Il Nintendo Switch Online è disponibile dal 19 settembre 2018, e permetterà all’utenza di accedere al multiplayer online dei vari titoli per Nintendo Switch, come Splatoon 2, ARMS, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe e Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Col servizio saranno disponibili dei salvataggi in cloud (benvenuti nel futuro), permettendo così il facile recupero dei salvataggi (apparte qualche eccezione), anche nel caso in cui cambierete la vostra console.
