INFORMAZIONI SUL TITOLO

Lauded for its detailed character portrayals and grand story development by game fans both in Japan and overseas, regardless of gender, the Trails (Kiseki) series of The Legend of Heroes games have sold over 4.3 million units. To commemorate the 10th anniversaries of The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki and The Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki developed as the Trails series’ Crossbell arc, the significantly upgraded The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Kai and The Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki Kai will be released for PlayStation 4 in spring 2020.

■ Fully-Voiced Main Story

A wonderful cast performs the story of protagonist Lloyd Bannings and the other members of the Crossbell Police Department’s Special Support Section. In The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Kai, the first chapter of the Crossbell arc, the story runs from the founding of the Special Support Section to the case of a religious cult. In The Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki Kai, the second chapter, the story revolves around the “Mirage Treasure” that occurred in Crossbell State parallel to the events of the Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series. These grand stories can be enjoyed with fully-voiced dialogue.

■ High-Speed Skip Mode

The “High-Speed Skip Mode” that players enjoyed in the PlayStation 4 versions of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II have been added as an additional feature. With the press of a button, you can change the game speed to two times faster for events and when on the field, and four times faster in battle for a more comfortable gameplay experience.

■ 60 Frames Per Second Support / High Image & Sound Quality

In line with the PlayStation 4 platform, both titles support a frame rate of 60 frames per second. In addition to more vivid graphics upgraded to high-definition from the original PlayStation Portable versions, the sound quality of background music and various sound effects have also been enhanced.

■ Handy Features Added / Various UI Adjustments

Similar to the Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series, an option to skip battle cut-in scenes has been added. That, combined with High-Speed Skip Mode, allows players to enjoy standard and event battles both swiftly and skillfully. Additionally, various user interfaces such as the field screen and menu screen have been brushed up from the original PlayStation Portable versions. Even players starting the Trails series for the first time will be able to enjoy these two games without a feeling of discomfort.
