Da quanto riportato dagli achievements di Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, sembrerebbe infatti che la mascotte SEGA per eccezione, Sonic the Hedgehog, faccia la sua presenza nel roster del titolo.
La remasterd del capitolo della saga principale di SEGA per Nintendo Wii, approderà con diverse novità, come la Decathalon mode e le leaderboard online, il prossimo 29 ottobre 2019, sui Nintendo Switch europei e americani.
