What is included in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass DLC?
With the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass, you’ll be able to race on 48 newly-added remastered courses. Courses include those based on real-world locations like Paris Promenade and Tokyo Blur from the Mario Kart Tour game in addition to nostalgic favorites like N64 Choco Mountain and Wii Coconut Mall!
Content will be released in 6 waves of 8 courses from March 18, 2022 until the end of 2023.
Can I play the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass content if I don’t have the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game?
The full Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game is needed to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass, which is sold separately.
How can I get access to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass in order to play the content?
Beginning March 18, 2022, users can either purchase Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass in Nintendo eShop for $24.99, or download it at no additional cost with a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.
Users who want to purchase the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass can pre-order it from Nintendo eShop before March 18, 2022. It is not necessary for users who want to download the pass at no additional cost with an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership to pre-order it.
No matter how the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass is downloaded, courses will be released in 6 waves of 8 courses until the end of 2023.
What are the differences between the two methods of getting the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass?
Players who purchase the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass DLC can play it indefinitely. For members of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, it is possible to play the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass content for the duration of an active membership.
If you do not renew your membership for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, it’s not possible to play the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass content unless it has been purchased separately or you begin a new Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.
The save data for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is stored on the console, so after becoming a member of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack again (or purchasing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass separately), it is possible to continue playing where players left off.

If you have a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Individual Membership, the account with the membership must launch the game in order to play the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass content. An internet connection may be required when launching the game to verify your Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership and access the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass content. After launching the game with the correct account, the courses will be available to play in local multiplayer modes with other users on the same Nintendo Switch system.
With a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Family Membership, all accounts that are part of the Family Group can play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass content for the duration of their membership. If the DLC is purchased separately, other users on the same console can also play the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass content when the console on which the contents are played is set as the Primary Console of the account that purchased it. On any other console, it can only be played on the account that purchased it.

As long as at least one of the players you are matched with online has access to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass, it is possible to play on one of the included courses if players vote for it.
A Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) is required to play online, and your Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game must be updated to the latest software version.
Secondo quanto riportato dal sito ufficiale di Nintendo, I percorsi del pacchetto 1 di Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Pass percorsi aggiuntivi, saranno giocabili in locale e online dal 18 marzo nella modalità Amici e avversari, anche se un solo giocatore possiede il Pass percorsi aggiuntivi o vi ha accesso tramite un’iscrizione a Nintendo Switch Online + Pacchetto aggiuntivo.
Dal 22 marzo, i percorsi del pacchetto 1 appariranno anche nella selezione casuale delle corse mondiali o regionali contro avversari online.
Saranno ben 48 i nuovi (classici) percorsi provenienti da tutti i capitoli precedenti della serie di Mario Kart, tutti nel Pass percorsi aggiuntivi, disponibile gratuitamente per chi già possiede un abbonamento Nintendo Switch Online + Pacchetto Aggiuntivo.
La prima ondata di DLC vedrà l’arrivo di otto nuovi tracciati, disponibili già dal prossimo 18 marzo 2022 su Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

48 percorsi da affrontare: un record!
Gareggia in strada, sott’acqua, nei cieli e persino sulle pareti in ben 48 circuiti. Saranno presenti tutti i percorsi (e i personaggi!) di Mario Kart 8 per Wii U, tra cui circuiti ispirati ad Animal Crossing, Excitebike, The Legend of Zelda e altro ancora che sono stati aggiunti come contenuti scaricabili!
Puoi scegliere tra cinque classi di velocità, come l’insidiosa GP 150cc speculare e la velocissima GP 200cc. Non hai mai giocato a Mario Kart? Attiva la guida assistita per familiarizzare con il gioco ed evitare i fuoripista.
Scala posizioni grazie agli oggetti!
Avere con sé due oggetti alla volta consente di elaborare nuove strategie nelle corse e nelle battaglie! Oltre a classici come le banane, i funghi scatto e il famigerato guscio spinoso, ci sono due oggetti di giochi della serie precedenti che fanno il loro ritorno: usa Boo per diventare invisibile e rubare l’oggetto di un altro giocatore, o sfrutta la piuma per evitare gli attacchi in arrivo con un bel salto***.
La modalità battaglia più estesa di sempre!
La modalità battaglia è stata ampliata! Crea scompiglio nelle classiche modalità battaglia palloncini, Bob-omba a tappeto, Acchiappamonete e Ruba il sole custode, o divertiti in Guardie e ladri.
Indipendentemente dalla modalità che scegli, troverai ben otto circuiti in cui battagliare con gli amici, da classici come Palazzo di Luigi ad aggiunte più recenti come Periferia urbana di Splatoon.
Compatibile con gli amiibo
Usando un amiibo compatibile (venduti separatamente), tra cui quelli di Super Mario, Splatoon e Animal Crossing, puoi fare indossare ai Mii un’ampia gamma di abiti a tema! Puoi usare gli amiibo con Nintendo Switch accostandoli al sensore NFC nel Joy-Con destro o al Nintendo Switch Pro Controller (venduto separatamente).
