Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, è uno dei capitoli spin-off della nota serie forense di Capcom, che vede protagonista il celebre procuratore Miles Edgeworth, pubblicato nel 2009 in Europa su Nintendo DS.
Come saprete da ormai molti mesi a questa parte, alcune domeniche verrà proposto un nuovo video di “Game of the Sunday”, che troverete poi nella playlist linkata in video di seguito.

Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth sposta il centro dell’azione dal tribunale alla scena del crimine permettendoti di scoprire in prima persona la verità, tutta la verità, nient’altro che la verità.
Nei panni dell’enigmatico Edgeworth (avvocato e storico avversario di Phoenix Wright), dovrai condurre le tue indagini indipendenti sulle scene del crimine, per scoprire piste e indizi, interrogare i testimoni e rivelare preziosi dettagli nascosti. Lo scopo del gioco è ricomporre i pezzi del puzzle fino a individuare il colpevole, il movente e il metodo utilizzato in numerosi casi appassionanti prima di coinvolgere la polizia perché proceda all’arresto dei malfattori.
Naturalmente, il calmo e giudizioso Edgeworth non arriva mai impreparato e questo significa che potrai avvalerti di vari strumenti durante la ricerca della verità. Nel corso delle indagini, il tuo Organizer si riempirà progressivamente con i fatti e le informazioni fondamentali su tutti i testimoni e i sospetti chiave e mostrerà tutte le prove che hai raccolto. L’Organizer ti permette inoltre di osservare gli oggetti da ogni possibile punto di vista: a volte sono i dettagli all’apparenza insignificanti che conducono alla soluzione di un caso. Nella modalità Logica, che rappresenta la brillante mente analitica di Edgeworth, potrai individuare i collegamenti tra fatti apparentemente non attinenti tra loro per effettuare le tue deduzioni. Ogni salto logico corretto aprirà nuove linee d’indagine, portandoti un po’ più vicino alla verità.
Essere sulla scena del crimine significa parlare con testimoni in grado di fornirti informazioni preziose, anche se non puoi avere la certezza che tutti dicano la verità! Durante le indagini, dovrai fare pressioni sui testimoni perché ti svelino ulteriori dettagli utili per fare chiarezza tra varie dichiarazioni incoerenti e contraddittorie e scoprire esattamente cosa è successo. Dopo aver esaminato i fatti e separato la verità dalle bugie, è ora di affrontare il sospetto, evidenziando le contraddizioni e presentando prove certe che consentano di mandare il colpevole dietro le sbarre! Tuttavia, evita di andare in giro ad accusare la gente a caso: Edgeworth ha una “barra vitale” che si riduce ogni volta che fa un’accusa sbagliata e se la barra si svuota completamente il caso è chiuso!

Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is a game that lets you, personally, uncover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth by taking the action from the courtroom and delivering it direct to the crime scene!
As the enigmatic Edgeworth, (prosecutor and Phoenix Wright’s notorious adversary), you’ll independently investigate crimescenes to uncover and identify clues, interview witnesses and expose nuggets of overlooked information. The aim of the game is to put together the puzzle pieces to identify the perpetrator, motive and method in several gripping cases before bringing in the police to hook the crooks!
Obviously the calm, considered Edgeworth never arrives unprepared, so you’ll have several tools at your disposal in your quest for the truth. During your investigations, your Organiser fills with the vital facts you collect about relevant witnesses and suspects, as well as handily displaying all the scraps of evidence you compile. The Organiser also allows you to scrutinise objects thoroughly from every angle – you never know when a case will hinge on the smallest of hidden details! In ‘Logic Mode’, which represents Edgeworth’s shrewd analytical mind, you can identify links between seemingly unrelated facts to make deductions: making the right logical leap opens up new lines of investigation, inching you ever closer to justice being served.
Being on the scene means dealing with witnesses, and while interviews can provide valuable information, not everyone tells the truth! During the investigation you’ll have to press witnesses for further details to untangle bafflingly inconsistent statements and figure out exactly what happened. Once you’ve examined the facts and separated out the fibs and fabrications it’s time to confront your suspect, exposing any contradictions with hard evidence to put the villain behind bars! However, you can’t just stride around making accusations willy-nilly; Edgeworth has a ‘life bar’ that goes down every time he makes an incorrect accusation and if it empties completely it’s case closed!
