Qualche ora fa è stato pubblicato un nuovo update per Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate, aggiornato alla versione 1.0.3 sui Nintendo Switch europei.
Il GDR di Spike Chunsoft sarà infatti pubblicato il prossimo 3 dicembre 2020 sull’eShop giapponese di Nintendo Switch, al prezzo di 2,709 yen, 3,980 yen per la versione retail.

– fixed an issue impacting dungeons where the number of floors increases after clearing them for the first time. Players were sometimes able to access the additional floors before clearing the dungeon first;
– fixes an issue occuring when displaying a hidden passage;
– adjusted processing so as to improve stability.

NEW BONUS DUNGEONS
Bladeless Wasteland
As the name implies, there are no weapon drops in this dungeon! Physical attacks do minimal damage, so use arrows, rocks and other ranged attacks to fight your way through.
[TIPS]
*Scrounge for Items!
Always be on the lookout for ways to maximize your supply of ranged weapons. Replicate items with a Fever Pot, pick up arrows from traps, or stock up at shops.
*Know When to Run!
Some enemies are immune to arrows or traps. Use a Seal Staff or Can. Arm Bracelet to deal with them. Don’t forget–Gazers are immune to staves.
Cloister of Certain Doom
Challenge yourself by setting a target number of turns to clear the dungeon within. Fail, and get booted back to the surface. How low can you go?
[TIPS]
*Establish a Baseline!
High drop rates for equipment and food make this dungeon relatively easy. Establish a baseline by starting with the maximum number of turns and seeing how many you need to clear the dungeon.
*Learn the Floor Types!
Every 10 floors will be either a large maze full of items or a small area packed with monsters. Maze floors have exploding enemies that you can use to blow through walls and rush to the exit stairs. Every 8 floors has Mixer enemies, which you can use to meld equipment.
Garden of Destiny
Defeating a monster in one attack nets a huge experience boost, but the more attacks it takes, the less experience you earn!
*Unlocked by clearing the main game.[TIPS]
*Maximize EXP Gain!
Only physical attacks from Shiren count towards the number of attacks, so wear down a monster with rocks and arrows (or attacks from companions!) before landing the finishing blow.
*Learn Enemy Weaknesses!
Weapons effective against certain monster types are common drops in this dungeon. Keep an arsenal on hand to handle any enemy.

Encountered a melody during your adventures that you can’t get out of your head? Listen to it anytime you like!
Live Display
Designed for live streaming, this optional UI displays your status, items, equipment, abilities, gameplay time, and turns spent in the dungeon.
Wanderer Rescue and Rankings Go Global
The Wanderer Rescue system lets you request help from other players when you collapse in a dungeon, while the Ranking system tracks top dungeon scores and rescue attempts.
This time around, the system connects all adventurers around the world, regardless of language or region settings.
