WayForward Day Featuring Vitamin Connection and More Coming to Limited Run Games
Preorders for physical editions of Vitamin Connection, Mighty Switch Force! Collection, and Mystik Belle begin on Jan. 17
Mark your calendars, gaming fans! We are proud to announce that Jan. 17 will be WayForward Day at limitedrungames.com, when not one, not two, but three releases will be made available for preorder in physical form, including the all-new Switch exclusive, Vitamin Connection. Whether you’re seeking the puzzle-platforming fun of Mighty Switch Force! Collection, the spooky adventuring of Mystik Belle, the unique shooting action of Vitamin Connection, or all of the above, you’ll be in for hours of enjoyment when these titles are made available exclusively via Limited Run Games.
Featuring innovative Joy-Con controls, HD Rumble, and other features developed exclusively with Nintendo Switch in mind, Vitamin Connection lets one or two players take control of Vita-Boy and Mina-Girl and use the microscopic Capsule Ship to fend off a putrid pathogenic invasion. As they eliminate foes with their Vitamin Beam, navigate maze-like environments, interact with quirky allies, and overcome a variety of challenging sub-games, they’ll save the Sable family — and maybe even the world! — from numerous wacky situations. In addition to a standard edition priced at $34.99, a limited edition (which includes 3-inch plushies of Vita-Boy and Mina-Girl, 12 character profile cards, a CD soundtrack, and a reversible poster) will be available for $64.99. Mighty Switch Force! Collection contains four complete games and more than 70 levels of action, platforming, and level-rearranging puzzles starring the galaxy’s most resilient cybernetic peacekeeper. As Officer Patricia Wagon, players will capture criminals, fight fires, rescue babies, and even engage in co-op and competitive multiplayer shenanigans. Available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, Mighty Switch Force! Collection will be offered in both a standard edition for $34.99 and a collector’s edition for $59.99. The game is also currently available digitally on Switch and PS4, as well as Xbox One and PC.
Last but not least, Mystik Belle puts players into the robe and hat of Belle MacFae, a young witch-in-training at the Hagmore School of Witchcraft. To prevent your expulsion and restore the crucial Walpurgisnacht brew, you must explore the expansive school grounds, defeat numerous enemies with your fire magic, and discover and use a variety of items to solve classic-adventure-style puzzles. Available on PS4 as a standard edition only, the physical version of Mystik Belle will be priced at $24.99. Digital editions are currently available on PS4 and Xbox One.
Additionally, a Mighty Switch Force! Collection vinyl LP soundtrack ($44.99) and Nintendo Switch carrying cases themed after Vitamin Connection and River City Girls ($14.99 each) will be available from Limited Run Games as well.
