A New Raid Event, New Year’s Tidings: A Clawful Caper, Is Now Live!

Up to four players with four adventurers each (up to 16 adventurers in total!) can battle together in the New Year’s Tidings: A Clawful Caper raid event, which began 7:00 AM, Dec 31, 2019. Take on event-specific quests to defeat the shadow-attuned raid boss and earn rewards!

This New Year’s is bright and lively! A wyrmclan leader named Mitsuhide has arrived, bringing a chaotic cohort of companions along with her! Mitsuhide is here to deliver blessings, but Ebisu, a feline dragon, has made off with all of the gifts she brought!

Now it’s up to a mouse dragon, the cutest boy in the land, a master of Hinomotoan dance, and yet another wyrmclan leader to work together and take action to recover the gifts! This clawful caper is just getting started!

A new adventurer, Hanabusa, will join you during this event. Increase your friendship with him to permanently add him to your roster. You can also collect blazons and emblems to get the dragon Ebisu and the A Game of Cat and Boar wyrmprint.

■Additions

[Fish Basket Rewards]

・Defeat the snappers reeled in during the battle with Ebisu to boost the fish basket displayed at the top of the screen.

・The more you boost the fish basket, the better your chances of getting good items as drop rewards when you defeat Ebisu.

[Changes to Nightmare and Omega Rewards]

・In this event, challenging Nightmare difficulty will cost more otherworld fragments than Expert difficulty, but you will be able to get better rewards than before.

The number of getherwings required to challenge Nightmare difficulty will not change.

You will still be able to get a Grand Bounty once per day.

・The rewards (both rates and content) for Omega battle will be the same as Nightmare difficulty, but you will not be able to get a Grand Bounty for clearing Omega difficulty.

Accordingly, the amount of stamina, getherwings, and otherworld fragments required to challenge Omega difficulty will be increased.

・If the event ends while you are in a quest, the quest will continue until the results have been determined. You will be able to earn rewards according to the results of the quest.

■Reward Availability Period
7:00 AM, Dec 31, 2019 to 6:59 AM, Jan 21, 2020
・You will be able to perform blazon summons and obtain emblem rewards during this period.

■Temporary Adventurers
When you complete quests, you will increase the friendship with any temporary adventurers in your team. If you maximize your friendship with a temporary adventurer, they will permanently remain in your collection, allowing you to include them in your team after the event ends. Their level, stats, equipment, and position in your team and collection will be maintained.

・Even if an event adventurer isn’t permanently added to your collection, any items used to upgrade their level, unlock their mana circles, and promote them will not be returned.

■Raid Battles
Raid battles are co-op battles where up to four teams (16 adventurers) can cooperate against a raid boss together! There are three difficulty levels available: Beginner, Expert, and Nightmare.
To participate in a raid battle, you must either create a room as the host or join a room as a guest.

・As a Host:
Creating a room requires otherworld fragments and getherwings.
You can obtain otherworld fragments from boss battles.

・As a Guest:
Joining a room requires otherworld fragments and getherwings.
You must have unlocked the respective difficulty to participate in a raid battle.

■Extra Raid Battles
You must clear the raid battle on Expert.

・As a Host:
Creating a room requires an otherworld gem.
You can obtain otherworld gems from the Expert and Nightmare difficulty raid battles.

・As a Guest:
Joining a room requires an otherworld gem.
You must have unlocked the respective difficulty to participate in a raid battle.

■Omega Difficulty
To challenge Omega difficulty, you must clear the raid battle on Nightmare difficulty. Additionally, to unlock Omega difficulty, you must collect three omega keys. You can obtain one omega key from each type of emblem rewards: bronze emblems, silver emblems, and gold emblems.

・Omega (Solo)
This quest is for solo play only.
It will unlock when you clear the raid battle on Nightmare difficulty.

・Omega (Raid)
This quest is for co-op play only.
It will unlock when you clear the Omega battle in solo play.

The raid version of the Omega battle is only unlocked at certain times and will not be available at other times, even if you have met the conditions to unlock it.

■Raid Boosts
When you clear raid battles, you’ll be able to get raid boosts, which power up adventurers for this event only.

Raid boosts you obtain will stack, and only apply to your team. The maximum effects you can achieve with raid boosts are described below.
・Damage +100%
・HP +50%
・Shapeshift Prep +25%
・Dragon Time +50%

The number of raid boosts you can obtain by clearing a single quest varies depending on the difficulty.
There are also special rare raid boosts.
・In this event, you will not be able to obtain rare raid boosts from boss battles.

Raid battle co-op rooms will now display each team’s boosted might, which factors in the increased power from raid boosts.
・Boosted might does not affect the might required to start a quest.

■Blazon Summons
Complete boss battles and raid battles to obtain peregrine blazons. Blazons collected can be used for blazon summoning to get event-specific 5★ dragons, 4★ wyrmprints, and other rewards.
After obtaining the dragon Ebisu through summoning, you can reset the contents available.
From the 5th reset onward, you must accept all rewards before you can reset the contents available.

■Emblems
You can obtain rewards, such as event-specific wyrmprints, based on the total number of emblems you gather during the event.

■Event Endeavors
Two types of event endeavors will be available during the event: Daily and Limited.

■Epilogue
The epilogue for the New Year’s Tidings: A Clawful Caper event will unlock at 7:00 AM, Jan 14, 2020.
Note: To view the epilogue, you must complete chapter 5 of the event story.

7:00 AM, Jan 14, 2020 to 6:59 AM, Jan 21, 2020

Notes:
1. During raid battles, you will only recover 1/4 of the amount of HP from certain skills and abilities.
2. Players must have completed up to Chapter 2 / 2-1 (Normal) of the main campaign to participate in event quests.
3. Players must have completed up to Chapter 2 / 2-1 (Normal) of the main campaign in order to play co-op.
4. If you do not maximize your friendship with temporary adventurers during the event, they will not join you after the event ends, regardless of their level or stats.
5. If a temporary adventurer permanently joins your roster, you will be able to read their Adventurer Story.
6. You will not be able to use blazons, emblems, otherworld gems, or otherworld fragments obtained in this event in future events.

Notte’s Slumber Shot, the popular and adorable shooting game created by Notte and released exclusively on April Fools’ Day, is back! Previously released when Notte took over as director of the game for a day, this fan favorite is coming back for a limited six-day period around the end of the year and the start of the new one!

We’re also adding limited-time endeavors!

Notte’s letting loose in the forest again! Whether you’re a Notte’s Slumber Shot veteran or playing for the first time, we hope you have a blast!

■How to Play

・Whoa! Notte’s the star of her own game?! Let’s not worry about the why or the how, let’s just set out on a heart-pounding adventure!

・Shoot water drops at the enemies that stand in your way to send them packing! Defeat the golden fafnirs that appear to find berries. Eating them will level up your water drops!

・You’ll lose hearts if you’re hit by an enemy attack, and if you run out, it’s game over. But don’t give up just because of a few bumps and scrapes! If you can hang in there when the going gets tough, you’ll be able to recover hearts.

・But what’s waiting at the end? Well, we didn’t want to be the one to tell you this, but… It’s a pretty big dragon. If you can evade its fierce attacks and take it down, you’ll get a ton of sparkling stars. So get in there and aim for a high score!
