Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S sarà il titolo ufficiale della versione Nintendo Switch

Poche ore fa è stato rivelato il titolo ufficiale della versione Nintendo Switch dell’ultimo esponente della serie di Square Enix, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S.

La notizia emerge direttamente dal creatore della serie, Yuji Horii, che rivela l’aggiunta della “S” nel titolo, che andrà a simboleggiare “Switch,” “Special,” “Shaberu” (parlare) e“Seiyuu” (doppiatore), il titolo non ha ancora una finestra di lancio precisa, ma è probabile che sia nel corso del 2019. 


Da quanto affermato dal producer, Hokuto Okamoto, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S si baserà sulla versione per Playstation 4, probabilmente con una specie di porting diretto.

Inoltre al contrario di quanto successo in passato con Jessica nella serie, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age non verrà minimamente censurato per il mercato occidentale, specialmente riguardo i dialoghi che riporterebbero alla cultura nipponica, spesso cambiata o rivista in serie giapponesi come ad esempio quella di Ace Attorney di Capcom.

Questo riguarderà appunto anche il lato “femminile”, come ad esempio i rimbalzi delle parti intime delle ragazze presenti nel gioco, sottolineate da Okamoto come “puff puff”, e le Magic Slot, una sorta di pachinko giapponese che anch’esso rimarrà nelle copie europee e americane.

DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age tells a captivating tale of a hunted hero and is the long-awaited role-playing game from series creator Yuji Horii, character designer Akira Toriyama, and series composer Koichi Sugiyama.   • Draconian Quest, a hard mode that offers additional challenges for more experienced players.
  • Overhauled Menus & UI, with graphical enhancements and more intuitive navigation.
  • Camera Mode, allowing players to take in views of the beautiful landscape, character renders and ferocious monsters in detail.
  • A New Dash Function and many other system enhancements such as improved character and camera movement
