Qualche ora fa è emersa l’ufficialità dell’approdo di Re:Legend, titolo successo su Kickstarter ed in arrivo in futuro anche sul Nintendo eShop di Switch.
Il titolo simulativo con forti componenti RPG, sarà pubblicato nel corso del 2018 da 505 Games sull’eShop europeo e americano di Nintendo Switch.

Washed ashore on Vokka Island without memories, you start a new life and find ways to recover your lost memories. However, you must first learn how to survive on the island by cultivating the land, befriending villagers, expanding the village and raising your very own magical creature known as “Magnus“.
Venture around the land of Ethia where Vokka island resides to reclaim your memories, but this is no easy task as the world is filled with dangerous Magnus and threatening challenges.
Will you be able to survive and rebuild your own Legend in your new life? Your fate is in your hand!”

Re:Legend revolves around taming and raising “Magnus”. There are plenty of them around the world and each of them possess unique abilities that can aid you in battle. While all Magnus produce goods, some prove to be quite handy on the farm. Having them around you can be a great help in your adventure!
While raising Magnuses is the main focus of the game, farming does play a huge role as well. You can own several plots of land and they can be used to grow crops throughout the seasons. Farming is not limited to land, as the environment of Vokka Island allows you to grow crops and keep exotic fishes underwater! Dive into the crystal clear water and farm to your heart’s content!
While crops can be sold for gold, other activities such as mining, fishing, logging or collecting resources from tamed Magnuses can contribute greatly to your wealth as well. You can then spend your gold and resources to purchase or craft upgrades for your house, barn, weapons, and tools.
Last but not least, there are plenty of recruitable villagers around the world that are crucial to Vokka Island’s expansion. Recruit them and the island shall flourish. You can then befriend them by interacting with them in a way that pleases them, like giving them items that they like. You can even marry one of the villagers if the relationship level is high enough!
Basically the gameplay features the following points:
- Farming(Grow crops on land/sea, keep fishes)
- Tame and raise Magnus(Monsters)
- Adventure(Story, Crafting, Fishing, Mining, Logging.etc)
- Recruit NPC(Village expansion)
Unlock new region and resources
Magnus
Mythical creatures known as “Magnus” roams the land of Ethia, and every single one of them is tamable. They will aid you in many ways such as during combat, farming, fishing, travelling and more.
They will also grow and evolve depending on your care, so each of them has unique evolution conditions. Once the Magnus has grown enough and you have gain their trust, you can mount them and use their abilities at will. These abilities will be helpful in your adventure in many ways so make sure to take good care of them!
Farming
Vokka island’s fertile ground is perfect for crops cultivation, be it on land or underwater. You can plant plenty of crops all year long with different species of plants to be cultivated with each coming seasons. Each crops can be sold for gold or used to improve your progression in the game.
Beside crops, you can also keep and breed the fishes that you have caught around the world in your farm. You can let them swim freely in your farm!
Living Skills
Practice makes perfect! You gain living skills as you practice them frequently.
They level-up passively as you carry out the activities so it is crucial to practice the skill that you want to master as much as you can.
Example of Living Skills:
Mining, Fishing, Logging, Crafting, Farming, Weaponry and much more!
Vokka Village
Vokka Village is where your new life begins! Befriend local villagers and celebrate exciting festivals while having a good time together. Pay attention to their needs and help them out in their daily lives, and they will reward you accordingly.
You can recruit more villagers into the village during your adventure, and having more villagers will expand the village. This will allow you to gain access to better resources, and who knows you might even be able to recover your lost memories!?
The direction that we are aiming for is a combination of cute and cool, so we went with the chibi anime style. It is a style that can bring out the cuteness and coolness of the character by giving them cute appearances and cool looking animations. We hope that you will enjoy what you see!
A lot of time was spent on developing the monsters from 2D concept art to 3D asset as we want to focus on monster raising. We want to create a unique feel for the monsters in their own way ranging from distinct physical features to special interaction animations.
Here’s some of the concept that we have developed so far, enjoy!
You can enjoy the game alone, but why not share the fun with your friends and family? Carry out the activities together and share precious memories! Together you shall conquer the world!
Raise Magnus, farm, fish, mine, complete quest and travel together with your partners! …or just kick back and relax while your partners do all the work! 😀
Number of Players: 1 – 4
While Vokka Island is a peaceful and relaxing place, the outside world it is definitely not! There are different regions around Vokka Island, each is a dangerous environment filled with wild Magnuses. It is always a wise choice to bring along your trusted Magnus before heading out.
We have planned 7 different regions so far, and each of them will house unique Magnuses in each respective ecosystem. There are plenty of exclusive Magnuses in those regions that cannot be encounter in other regions, and each region’s exclusive Magnus has different strength in terms of their abilities. They will be able to help you in specific section of your journey so take your time to understand their strength and raise them carefully.

Coast, Forest, Desert, ???, ???, ???, ???Re:Legend is currently being develop by a small indie game studio named Magnus Games. You might have wondered why do we name our monster “Magnus”, it’s pretty obvious at this point right? 😀
Despite our ambitious plan to complete the game with only a small team and limited funding, there’s only so much a person can do within a set period of time and our funding can only last so long. Some of you whom had followed our previous project might have known who we are and what had happened previously, so we are not going to dwell into that further.
